Ling Hoi, aided by her AI mechanical pet I.i., seeks her aunt Wong Yam’s help at the Emei Mountain Spirit Power Academy to locate her vanished family, who were working to advance human evolution through technology.

In the near future, Dr. Yu Wong and her family, eager to use technology to enhance human evolution and adapt to the changing environment, have all vanished. Only the eldest daughter, Ling Hoi, managed to escape with the help of her artificially intelligent mechanical pet, I.i.
