We are back with another edition of JUST KICKIN’ IT! – our Kickstarter spotlight that showcases creators and their projects on the crowdfunding platform.

Episode three of JUST KICKIN’ IT! features returning guests, writers E.B. Kogan & Jessica Silvetti of SHOCKHEADED PETER Part Two – currently on Kickstarter through November 4th, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST.

The campaign has already met its target funding goal and Stretch Goals are in effect!

The second book of a planned 3-part fantasy-horror graphic novel of marvelous retribution and dreadful delight, Shockheaded Peter is a cautionary tale about the harbinger of punishment and a teenage girl’s desire to join his disturbing crusade. This tale is unleashed with chaotic flair by writers E.B. Kogan and Jessica Silvetti and supercharged by the unapologetic artistry of Giuseppe Sabè Di Stefano in a beautifully printed, perfect-bound 108-page book.

SHOCKHEADED PETER Part Two

Written by E.B. Kogan & Jessica Silvetti
Illustrated by Giuseppe Sabè Di Stefano

When Shockheaded Peter arrives in the small town of Winding Springs, he sets in motion a macabre game of cat and mouse that has terrible consequences for all the malicious townsfolk. As gruesome and fantastical punishments are doled out, teenage heroine Ruby, a girl with an actual broken heart, discovers her true purpose.

GIVEAWAY!!!

Comics Bodega wants to sweeten the pot in effort of bringing new backers to the campaign before it ends. What does that mean? EVERY NEW BACKER from NOW until the campaign ends (Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST) will receive two (2) exclusive variant comic books from Comics Bodega!

During my time as a writer & chief editor at PopCultHQ (2015-2025), I connected with Hollywood screenwriter and Ringo Award-winning writer Rylend Grant to create these exclusive variants of his first two titles – ABERRANT and BANJAX – the former winning a Ringo Award for Best Villain (Lance Cordrey) and the latter being multi-nominated for Ringo Awards. The ABERRANT variant is limited to 125 copies and pays homage to the Weekend at Bernie’s movie poster. The BANJAX variant is limited to 250 copies and is an homage to Bob Layton’s iconic “Demon in a Bottle” cover for IRON MAN #128 – a highly-recognized, pivotal storyline for Tony Stark. The only way to obtain these books are through writer Rylend Grant or me! Each variant has a retail value of $15!

I backed the first campaign and fell in love with this beautiful masterpiece-in-the-making and am beyond jacked that the second of three books is now running on Kickstarter. And book three isn’t too far down the road! We decided to run this giveaway, as crowdfunding campaigns can often have little-to-no backers during its final days. In an effort to get more people to experience the greatness that is SHOCKHEADED PETER, giving away these books is a show of our support for this project and (hopefully) a way to get new eyes on this incredible project. If you missed issue one, you can get that through this campaign as well. You’re covered. All you need to do is back the project from the time of this article publishing through the end of the campaign at the Digital Deluxe tier (or higher) and you will be treated to the two limited edition, exclusive variant comic books above when your order is shipped to you.

So, if you haven’t backed the campaign yet, this is your chance to snag a couple of exclusive variants ($30 value) of books that critics have raved about, compliments of Comics Bodega. And why are we doing this? Because it’s a project I believe in. It’s created by talented individuals. The finished product is a spectacle to behold. I cannot express enough praise for this SHOCKHEADED PETER – not only is the storytelling brilliant, but the illustrations are over-the-top magnificent. The creative team has put together a fantastic Part One, Part Two looks amazing, and I have no doubt that Part Three is going to be the crème de la crème!

For new backers – back the campaign NOW! and these two exclusive variants will be added to your order and shipped during fulfillment.
