James, a man who was nearly a guitar legend but settled for being a cop, realizes the same unearthly muse who once tormented him may have found a new instrument: a grungy, flannel-clad blonde kid with a notebook full of angsty songs.
Determined to protect the kid from his murderous inspiration, James takes him on a desperate journey, battling his own dark purple haze of history along the way.
WHERE DID YOU SLEEP is a 32-page tale of electrified alt-rock alt-history steeped in gritty VHS-era horror.
I sat down with Tom to discuss his debut comic book project, his creative team, his love for music, the Puget Sound’s music & murderous scene, and going to his local comic shop with his older brother.
Now, it’s time to learn more about WHERE DID YOU SLEEP from the creator himself in our interview from this past weekend. Enjoy!
I’d like to send a very big thank you to Tom for reaching out & taking the time to speak with me to discuss WHERE DID YOU SLEEP.
